We understand the significant role tuition assistance plays in shaping the professional development of our Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health employees. Employee Tuition Assistance – Effective January 1, 2025
- Employee must have completed at least 180 days of employment at the time the course begins to utilize the benefit.
- Employee must be actively working his/her scheduled hours (full time, FTE 0.8 (32 hours per week) or part time FTE 0.5 – 0.799 (20 hours per week) to be eligible to apply for tuition assistance and must be actively working his/her scheduled hours (full or part-time) at the time the course begins.
- LG Health employees who are enrolled, and have been accepted in any of the degree programs at SJU Lancaster, will receive 100% tuition assistance.
- All other accredited Colleges and Universities providing Post-Secondary Education:
- $8,000 per calendar year for full-time (FTE 0.8+) benefit-eligible employees
- $4,000 per calendar year for part-time (FTE 0.5 – 0.799) benefit-eligible employees
- For all other programs of study and non-degree credit bearing coursework, a maximum of $5,250 per year for full-time (FTE 0.8+) and $2,625 for part-time (FTE 0.5 – 0.799)
