The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers eight (8) free confidential counseling sessions, as well as educational tools and referral services to help you manage life’s problems – and to help you and your family lead happier and more productive lives at home and at work. The EAP is managed by Quest Behavioral Health, which provides access to a network of behavioral health providers in the community. Additionally, Quest provides resources for many work/life challenges. Members can contact the EAP directly and all contacts are private.
Quest Care Managers are available 24 hours a day/7 days a week to assist with accessing care for urgent clinical needs. Please call 1-800-364-6352 for assistance.

Quest also has a free employee resource program that offers information, advice and support on a wide range of everyday legal and financial issues. Quest wants to help you and your family member obtain assistance and information regarding the care and support of older family members. Whether you need emotional support, counseling or guidance regarding eldercare services, the program offers services such as: selecting personal care facilities, nursing home options and senior centers and adult day care.
Dr. Steven Keihl, a clinical care manager and resilience coach at Quest Behavioral Health, will support employees who are experiencing burnout, job stress and other concerns that impact overall well-being. Dr. Keihl, a veteran of the U.S. Army, has provided therapeutic and clinical services for more than 30 years. He promotes a whole-person approach to health, incorporating the body, mind, heart and spirit.
Dr. Keihl is available to talk with employees about challenges on the job, work/life balance and emotional well-being. He will be on site at Lancaster General Hospital noon to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; and 7 to 11 p.m. Wednesdays. He is also available to visit additional LG Health locations as needed.
